Advantages of the self steering axles avoiding to lock the steering of the wheels in reverse

The wheels are manually steered to facilitate the operations in short space using the tractor oil distributor. The system automatically passes to the self steering mode at a defined speed <10 km/h. Over the defined speed the system can’t be commanded manually for safety..

Advantages

In forward direction the steering of the axles is natural because the system leaves them self steering; in reverse EASYDRIVE allows to steer manually the axles to facilitate the maneuvers in short space using the tractor oil distributor.
The system automatically passes to the self steering mode at a defined speed.

Improvement of the handling of the trailer in reverse: it is possible to operate the machine in very tight spaces
No sliding of the tyres, the axles follow perfectly the trajectory in reverse: Reduced wear of the tyres
Better behaviour in forward motion: Self steering axles follow the trajectory
